LoofCo Washing-Up Brush – Natural Coconut Fibre Dish Brush

The LoofCo Washing-Up Brush is a durable and eco-friendly alternative to plastic dish brushes. Handmade in Sri Lanka, it is crafted from coconut coir fibre – the tough, fibrous material found beneath the husk of mature coconuts – twisted around a galvanised metal core with an integrated hanging loop.

Measuring approximately 10cm x 7cm (excluding the loop), this compact, easy-grip brush is designed to handle a variety of kitchen cleaning tasks. The strong coir bristles are naturally abrasive, making them ideal for scrubbing pans and woks, while still small enough to clean cups, cutlery, and crockery with ease.

How to Use:

• Rinse thoroughly before first use and soak in warm water to soften bristles

• Use with warm water and washing-up liquid or LoofCo Washing-Up Soap

• After use, rinse well, shake out excess water and food particles, and hang to dry

• Occasionally soak in hot water with detergent to refresh

• Compost fibres and recycle metal core at end of life
